Have you tried everything to find back pain relief or a way to stop your chronic back pain?

Most chronic back pain and injuries to the back are mechanical in nature and can be caused by any combination of sprained ligaments, strained muscles, bulging discs and pinched nerves, any or all of which can lead to pain. Your lumbar spine could be normal and suddenly become injured in a fall, accident or sports injury.

More often than not, however, weaknesses from less severe, earlier injuries accumulate and compound as the years go by, leading to a protruding, herniated or bulging disc that can cause a painful pinched nerve. When the sciatic nerve is feeling pressure it can be felt in the lower back, and can radiate into the buttock, hip and/or various parts of the leg and foot. In addition to the pain, there may be numbness, muscular weakness, pins and needles or tingling, and difficulty in supporting weight on the involved leg.

At Wynne Chirorpactic Center, P.A, our Wilmington back doctor focuses on non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, a back treatment that works to heal your back without surgery and help relieve the pain of a pinched sciatic nerve.

Non-Surgical Treatment For Neck & Back Pain
More often times than not when people in the Wilmington, N.C. area have back pain or neck pain they will be offered pain pills by their doctor to reduce the pain, anti-inflammatory medication, and or muscle relaxants If these medications don’t work, an injection will usually be tried followed by surgery if the pain persists. The problem with medications and injections is that they usually only offer temporary relief because the cause of the problem has not been addressed.

The problem with spinal surgery is that it may, or may not, provide relief and in some cases an additional surgery may be necessary as a result of the unintended consequences of the first surgery.

Before going the way of injections and surgeries doesn’t it make sense to look at a conservative, less invasive, less risky approach? The good news is that there is a groundbreaking, non-surgical, drug free approach that is available to people with the listed conditions:

Herniated/Bulging Discs
Severe neck and back pain
Arthritis (Degenerative Joint or Disc Disease)
Pain or numbness/tingling in the arms or legs
Spinal Stenosis
Post surgical patients

If you have any of the conditions above you are urged to call us today at (910)799-2225 and schedule a free consultation/screening exam to see if you are a candidate for our non-surgical spinal decompression therapy.

What Can You Expect During Your Spinal Decompression Visits?

First, we’ll have you lie down on our specially-equipped table. Then, ever so slowly, we’ll stretch your spine, and the relax it. Stretch, and relax. Our patients tell us this process is quite pleasant, and relaxing, so much so that we have had some of our patients fall asleep during their session!

Because they don’t feel the need to “guard or tense” their spine, each sequence helps the damaged disc receive nourishment, expel waste and enjoy reduced pressure, which allows the healing process to begin. Spinal decompression not only offers relief but allows many of our patients to resume an active lifestyle.
